Church and Princely Court
The Precista Church was built in 1491 by Alexandru-Voda - the son and co-executive of Stefan cel Mare - who had established his residence in Bacau. The church, of apparent brick, is typical for the series of reigns of this age. Lacasul was repaired by the ruler Vasile Lupu (1641), who then worshiped it at its foundation in Iasi, the Three Hierarchs Monastery. Inside the monastery there are preserved the ruins of a reigning palace (1481) in which Alexandru-Voda lived.
