Turda Salt Mine

Inside, however, additional fees may be charged for renting boats, carousels or other activities. Salina is located in Turda, and if you get there, I recommend you do not leave without visiting the salt baths, the ruins of the Potaissa fortress of the Fifth Macedonian Legion and those of the medieval fortress Turda, the tomb of Michael the Brave or the Zoo.

Turzii Gorges

Stay in the Turda area, if you are a nature lover, to enjoy the Turzii Gorges, formed by the erosion of the Jurassic limestone. The gorges have a length of 1,270 m and a maximum height of 200 m and are crossed by the H??date brook. The nature monument has been included in the UNESCO heritage list, because it is one of the most important nature monuments in the area.
